Gratitude.

Gratitude is not a popular virtue. Its a virtue which is assumed to pre-exist, flowing eternally, people taking its presence for granted. Actually its the world's largest supply chain, flowing smoothly and without a foot stamp into people's lives. We are interlinked with people eternally because we have learned something from them, somebody has done you a virtue, somebody has been there for you, somebody taught you how to live. It is important that we are grateful to the people who have made a difference in our lives, who have gone that little extra to be there specially for you, in fact, to make you special. Some of us might even think that we are self made, standing tall by ourselves, assuming we came here ourselves...don't forget any lesson you may have learned, a little help you may have got, a word of advice which stood you strong...basically, don't forget.

Failure and Loss.

Does failure fail us? When i think of my failures, i used to think i was the only one who failed. And a feeling of immense embarrasment and self humiliation overcame me, always. A failure is an inability to achieve a desired outcome from our lack of sufficient focus, confidence and discipline. A failure can be in a project, in a desired skill, can be in and mostly in a relationship and even in a small routine. The truth about failure is it makes us withdrawn and lonely in that only we can sympathize with ourself. But every failure is also a reminder that we have to correct ouselves firmly, prune, refine and review where we stand and what we want to do. If life gives a chance that is. Simmer down, destiny.

Truth, Beauty, Love

In the harsh light of day
How quickly they fade away
All those magnificent feelings
Awe-inspiring brushes with magic...
Made possible by the light of moon...

Poor, lost, lonely souls...
Wandering in search of connections
Looking for truth, beauty, love...
They miss the twinkle in his eye
'Tis the only high!

For what is Beauty, If not
The play of light upon her...
And what else could love be
But the glow in her heart
That he was there to see...

The habit of living with a habit.

Are you a creature of habit, like all of us? Which ones we cannot just let go...Whilst our habits makes us as unique as our DNA, they also endanger us in their own ways. They restrict our thinking and our openness to change. Open yourself out, shake yourself from the comfort zones and test yourself without a habit. Hold on to the good ones and filter out the rest. Get open, creative and broaden your horizon. You will feel a world of possibilities opening up. Surprising that even our stereotypical reactions to situations, circumstances comes from our presumption of a habitual response. Get free, diversify and fly high.

Freedom.

How free are you? Do you breathe freely, walk in freedom, thoughtless, light as a bird, no clamps on your mind? Do you live a free life? What does freedom mean to you? Is there a constant juggle between thinking you are free and being free. Will it make a difference? Are you really living the life you want to lead? Is choicelessness binding us always? Today, my thoughts are full of questions instead of a direction. Let me know what you think and lets put in a track...i constantly search for the bird called freedom.

Trust

Trust is the fabric and essence of a strong and healthy relationship. Does our past determine our present and future? How does trust build in a relationship. I think trust is infinite, continuous and ongoing part of a relationship. Its mighty and powerful. It has high fortitude. It takes some times minutes and sometimes years to build trust. During this season of trust, many times it faces autumn than spring where the trust is put to test, broken and vulnerable at many points. It definitely depends on individual strengths to hang in there and hold on. Believe in yourself and the person who is worth trusting. Amen.

Now&Then.

Now and then i think of how we complicate our lives forgetting how things are usually simple and matter of fact. We complicate, bring in multi layers of intertwined thoughts and most often forget the original purpose and objective. This makes our living stressful and heavy, full of thoughts, a lack of freedom and an inability to be happy. Lets say we make a sincere attempt to change the way we live, make it lighter and more beautiful? Do share your thoughts with me.
