Does failure fail us? When i think of my failures, i used to think i was the only one who failed. And a feeling of immense embarrasment and self humiliation overcame me, always. A failure is an inability to achieve a desired outcome from our lack of sufficient focus, confidence and discipline. A failure can be in a project, in a desired skill, can be in and mostly in a relationship and even in a small routine. The truth about failure is it makes us withdrawn and lonely in that only we can sympathize with ourself. But every failure is also a reminder that we have to correct ouselves firmly, prune, refine and review where we stand and what we want to do. If life gives a chance that is. Simmer down, destiny.
Failure need not necessarily be due to lack of sufficient focus, confidence and discipline. It could just be that what we thought was the right approach was really not. Here's a famous quote by Thomas Edison on inventing the light bulb.

Failure just means that we have to be more patient to reach the elusive success. Easier said than done.
Nobody likes likes to fail. But it happens to all of us one way or another. What we do after a failure depends a lot on how we draw upon life's experiences.
